The little orange dot is where the lighthouse used to sit on that base. Not only was the lighthouse moved, but the surrounding buildings as well. There it is! All 4400 tons!

The base is still being settled We step back & view as we drive down to the actual Cape Hatteras Literally the tip of Cape Hatteras, very eerie to see the ocean crashing into itself from 2 sides.
