This is my first visit to the state arboretum, which is part of the Univ. of VA. From northern VA simply take 50 West (past Middleburg) it's shortly before Winchester. (see pictures from my visits to the National Arboretum in Wash DC in August 99 and from earlier this year April 00) Moppy & I drove out on a cloudy Sunday afternoon.
